IG Drones, India’s leading enterprise drone solutions company, has secured the annual contract for periodic monitoring of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. The intention behind taking the route via Thane is to keep the option open to link the corridor to Pune.

Recently, the Honourable Minister of Railways and IT, Shri Ashwin Vaishnaw, launched India’s first 5G-enabled drone,IG Drones Skyhawk, developed by IG Drones. The drone’s VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) System enables it to operate from any terrain without the need for a conventional runway. The drone is IP67 rated and can be controlled via a combination of Navic + GPS Navigational Satellites. Additionally, it is capable of operating through satellites in case an internet link is not available.
