Tata Neu, the Tata group’s all-in-one flagship super-app designed to compete with Amazon and Reliance Jio Platforms, is now available to the general public.

Until today, the app had been tested and was only available to Tata Group employees.

N Chandrasekaran, CEO of Tata Group, said on the occasion, “Today is a Neu day! Tata Neu is brought to you today by Tata Digital, the newest member of the Tata family.”

“Tata Neu is a new platform that combines all of our brands into a single powerful app. It is an entirely new way to discover Tata’s wonderful world, combining our traditional consumer-first approach with the modern ethos of technology “He stated.

As the Tata Neu app goes live today, it makes me proud to see so many of our trusted and loved brands already on the Tata Neu platform, including Air Asia, BigBasket, Croma, IHCL, Qmin, Starbucks, Tata 1Mg, Tata CLiQ, Tata Play, Westside, and Vistara, Air India, Titan, Tanishq, and Tata Motors. According to Chandrasekaran

According to the group’s website, Tata Neu will have in-house brands such as Croma, Westside, AirAsia India, the Taj chain of luxury hotels, and BigBasket.

The website described it as a “super-app” that has been in the works since at least mid-2020 and described it as “a unified platform that connects several brands across the Tata universe like never before.”

Chandrasekaran went on to say that the goal is to make Indian consumers’ lives simpler and easier. “The power of choice, a consistent experience, and loyalty will be at the heart of Tata Neu, delivering a powerful One Tata experience,” he added.

For customer retention, the all-in-one app will include a loyalty program. According to the website, each brand on Tata Neu is “connected by a common reward called NeuCoins, which can be earned across all brands online and at physical locations and can be used similarly as well.”
