Late last year, around December, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed that he had contacted Apple CEO Tim Cook during Tesla’s darkest days. At the time, Musk wanted to sell Tesla to Apple, but Cook had not yet met him. In a recent interview, Cook shared a little about what he thought of Tesla and Musk. However, he did not confirm or deny what Musk had said last year about Cook’s refusal to hold the meeting.
“Elon and I have never interacted personally, you know, even though I like him and respect the company he builds. I think Tesla has done an incredible job of not only establishing a lead but keeping the lead for so long in the EV space. So I appreciate them very much, “said Cook.
