Food that calms the workload and stress of office

In this hectic schedule of the lifestyle of the workplace, almost everyone faces a point in life when someone feels low. Anxiety and stress are quite common these days and can occur in any individual. These are the common ailments that are caused by the imbalance of hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. People working in the corporate world often tend to take medications for it but ignore the side effects of it. One might be surprised to know that these ailments can be easily treated by consuming foods which may help lower the stress levels.

Here are some food items that help an individual in lowering the levels of anxiety and stress. These foods will help increase productivity and concentration in the office.

Avocados

Avocados are rich in Vitamin E & B because of the high presence of monounsaturated fats. Avocados are quite healthy for the heart and also contains a large amount of fiber and magnesium. The combination of vitamin B and magnesium helps liberate serotonin in the brain and thus reducing the level of stress. There are hundreds of recipes for eating avocado, which can do miracles to your body.

Green tea

Green teaDrinking green tea also reduces stress and relieves anxiety. Green tea contains a particular amino acid called L-theanine, which keeps the brain healthy and relieves stress.

Who doesn’t love chocolates? Chocolates are known to release hormones and reduce stress in the body. The taste of dark chocolates is quite gratifying, which provides comfort to the brain. Cocoa beans used in dark chocolates contain an extensive amount of helpful antioxidants. These antioxidants help to reduce blood pressure and decrease the uncertainty of cardiovascular complications. Eating dark chocolate helps in releasing a neurotransmitter called serotonin, which decreases anxiety levels.

Office work can be quite hectic. Eating Yogurt daily before and after going office can help improve concentration. Not only that, Yogurt can help enhance strength to work.

Consuming strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc. is also very beneficial. All these berries contain a lot of antioxidants, which provide many benefits to the body. These sweet and sour berries are also a good source of vitamin C. Therefore, they reduce stress.
