Solar energy is the greatest source of renewable energy but its potential still remains untapped due to high costs. SolarEarn, a crowd-investment platform for financing solar energy solutions provides electricity to high-impact communities & institutions that cannot bear the upfront costs while delivering a financial return for investors through a buy-to-lease solar asset ecosystem. We are a crowdfunding platform for solar cells to make solar energy affordable. Our mission is to make solar energy affordable.

We have a simple process –

Yatharth

BUY SE MEMBERSHIP with just Rs 600 and you get ownership of a solar cell

  • SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION
  • ELECTRICITY GENERATION
  • EARN ROI (Upto 15%)
  • ACCESS TO CAPITAL FREE SOLAR PLANTS
  • SOLAR POWER THE WORLD

I’m from Delhi and even in Delhi many places still do not get electricity properly although India has more than months of summer. Also, villages in UP or Bihar have a very critical situation and electricity has still not reached those places. Also, as I said I’m from Delhi, so yeah we face a lot of pollution and climate change due to the use of conventional energy and solar energy can help us to improve our environment. Last summer I went with my friend to the University of Pennsylvania and visited an American village on the way where I saw it was totally powered by solar energy.

Then I got this idea why can’t we power India with solar energy everywhere and the answer which I got was the installation cost is too high due to which people do not want to opt it. So, I got an idea of the crowdfunding of solar cells by which many people will invest their money in a solar plant and it will be built for free for the consumer who cannot take up the installation cost. So, we aimed at various factories, households, etc and they were ready to opt for it. As of now we are in the platforming building stage and yeah we have already customers to get solar plants installed and customers too who want to buy solar cells. We are seeking funding too.

My vision for the company is that I want to start it with factories, households, and shops. But in the bigger picture, I have a goal to cover villages and those rural places which haven’t seen electricity for a long time and help them to get access to electricity hence improve their standard of life. I will not say it’s my passion because passion is for greedy, its my purpose of life to help India Shine in solar energy and it’s my dream too.
