Google CEO Sundar Pichai has donated massive five crore rupees to ‘Give India’ to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The twitter handle of “Give India” gave this information in its tweet.

Before this, Google provided compensation of more than $ 800 million as part of efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. This compensation includes a $ 200 million investment fund for NGOs and world banks, which will help small businesses raise capital. In this time of crisis, “Give India” campaign launched to help the poor people, and daily wage laborers of the country have gathered Rs 12 crore.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the economy of the USA got primarily hit. The US President Donald Trump has formed the Great American Economic Revival industry groups to revive the badly damaged US economy. In this group, Trump has nominated Sundar Pichai as well to help restore the economy.

Due to ongoing pandemic, Google has decided to slow down its operations for the next few months. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has given hints to slow down the process of hiring people in the company as a part of cost-cutting measure as well. Pichai gave this information to its employees through an email. At the same time, Microsoft founder Bill Gates also announced $ 100 million (Rs 751 crore) help fight against the deadly virus.
Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey also announced $ 1 billion funds for saving humanity.

Coronavirus has created havoc worldwide as well as in India. According to reports, the virus has spread in more than 190 countries, is quite fatal and contagious. In India, Migrant labourers are miscued due to poverty. Not only Google but other big companies and firm of India have come forward to help the Indian government. Some of these companies include Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Paytm etc.
