Google CEO Sundar Pichai has donated massive five crore rupees to ‘Give India’ to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The twitter handle of “Give India” gave this information in its tweet.

Before this, Google provided compensation of more than $ 800 million as part of efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. This compensation includes a $ 200 million investment fund for NGOs and world banks, which will help small businesses raise capital. Due to ongoing pandemic, Google has decided to slow down its operations for the next few months. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has given hints to slow down the process of hiring people in the company as a part of cost-cutting measure as well. Pichai gave this information to its employees through an email. At the same time, Microsoft founder Bill Gates also announced $ 100 million (Rs 751 crore) help fight against the deadly virus.
Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey also announced $ 1 billion funds for saving humanity.
