Famous for his innovations, tweets on cryptocurrencies, SpaceX, Tesla investments, space, and working strategies we don’t think so Elon Musk needs any introduction. So let us take you through the journey of how Elon became a world-famous entrepreneur from a common man who is willing to build a life on Mars

Early Life and Education

Elon was born and brought up in a highly ambitious family, Elon was in 1971 at a place called Pretoria, One of the capitals of South Africa. He was from a family of achievers from his father being an engineer to his mother being a model and nutritionist. He is the oldest among the three children, all highly ambitious: His brother, Kimbal Musk, is a venture capitalist and environmentalist. His sister, Tosca Musk, is a renowned producer and director.

Yet he had a troubled childhood as his parents divorced in 1980, and Musk spend most of his childhood with his father. He had mentioned his father was a terrible human being and he had faced lots of trouble as a child and he worry about the thing that his children would not face such adversities.

Elon Musk

Faced Bullied in childhood

Musk describes himself as a bookworm as he reads from a wide range of genres from comics to encyclopedias. His intelligence helped him a lot and worked in his life and ventures. He had only a few African friends only who were his classmates.

Musk did his schooling at English-speaking Waterkloof House Preparatory School and graduated from Pretoria Boys High School. He described these years as dark years of his life.

Early Accomplishment

Musk founded his solace in technology. At the earliest age of 10, he initiated programming the Commodore VIC-20, an inexpensive home computer. Later he used this to create  Blastar—a video game in the style of Space Invaders. He sold the BASIC code for the game to a magazine called  Pc and Office Technology for 500 $.

Entering the U.S.A

Elon moved to the U.S.A  by shifting to the University of Pennsylvania where he pursued two majors and turned a 10 st10-bedroom fraternity house into an ad hoc nightclub as a side hustle with the help of his classmates.

Musk graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, and also pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Wharton School.

The two majors decided on the direction Musk’s career would take later, but physics left the deepest impression.

“(Physics is) a good framework for thinking,” he would say later. “Boil things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there.”

Most famous Ventures  PayPal

In 1995, with $28,000 and his younger brother Kimbal, Musk started Zip2, a web software company to provide newspapers to develop online city guides. In 1999,  Compaq’s AltaVista, a web search engine firm bought ZIP2 for $340 million. Musk used this money to create X.com, which he wanted to become the revolution of banking.

X.com later joined with a money transfer company called Confinity, and the resulting company came to be known as PayPal.

Tesla

First,  from his own funding—about $70 million. Then, in 2004, Musk with the help of engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning to build and run Tesla Motors, where Musk played a crucial role in designing the Tesla Roadster, an electric car. After disagreements with  Eberhard, Musk claimed the position of management control as CEO and product architect.

Through his leadership, Tesla has bought a revolution in cars and became a  globally recognized self-driving and automated car.

In addition to producing electric vehicles, Tesla marks its nail in the solar energy space, thanks to its acquisition of SolarCity. Which produces solar batteries for storage.

SpaceX

Due to his love for space and physics, Elon used the revenue generated by  Paypal to build  Space Exploration Technologies Corporation aka -SpaceX, a space traveler company, with his own funding of 100 $ in 2002
