Recently, it has emerged as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) startup hub with the startup companies like Zoho, freshworks, PipeCandy, Netmeds, Tendercuts, Caratlane, Waycool and many more.     Freshworks

    It was started in 2010 by Girish Mathrubootham and Shan Krishnasamy.  It was started with single product cloud based customer service software. After four years, Freshservice was launched to offer modernised ITSM solutions. Again, after one year, fresh sales originated with a new service of 360* CRM solutions.

     As the company’s service has flourished beyond the helpdesk software into CRM, Itsm domains. So, it was rebranded as freshworks in 2017. In 2021, it was listed on Nasdaq with the valuation of $13B and has 50K+ clients across the globe.

    Chargebee

    It was founded by three friends named Krish Subramanian, KP Saravanan, Rajaraman Santhanam, Thiyagarajan T. It was founded in 2011. It helps the businesses in collection of recurring payments and subscription billing management process. It also allows business to carry out experiment experiments in the subscription workflow without depending on the developer. It helps them to make data driven decisions through comprehensive subscription analytics. Last year, In April it became Unicorn with a valuation of $1.4B increasing $125 million in its Series G financing round. It was led by Sapphire Ventures and existing investors Tiger Global and Insight Venture Partners.

    Kissflow

    Earlier, It was Orangescape which changed to kissflow. It was founded by Suresh Sambandam. It is a business process based on cloud and also workflow management software. It’s another service digital workplace provides a comprehensive cloud based workflow. It helps the businesses to transfer their work to a virtual platform. You can access this software anywhere and has all the essential features which an employer needs to get their work completed. It includes all applications, management of projects and collaboration tools. It also provides a low code platform which helps the business to create applications. The best thing about it is that it can be done without coding and automates manual processes. According to Kissflow’s official blog, Kissflow’s suite of products is used by more than 10,000 organizations across the globe.

    Zoho

    In 1996, Zoho was established by two individuals Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas.It was originally started as a network management company named AdventNet. It was renamed from AdventNet Zoho corporation in 2009. Zoho corporation is divided into three different divisions which focus on different segments. It is as follows

    Zoho.com focuses on developing the productivity and growth of online business and collaboration applications. ManageEngine focuses on enterprise management tools. Zoho One  helps businesses to manage and automate business processes across the organisations with more than 40 Integrated applications. It also has a broad range of applications in sales and marketing, customer service, E-mail and collaboration, finance and many more. It also has a university named Zoho university which was started in 2004.  It aims to train students with different types of skills and abilities.

    GUVI

    It is an acronym of Grab Your Vernacular Imprint. It was initiated by three friends Arun Prakash, Sridevi Arun Prakash, and SP Balamurugan in 2011. That time, In 2011 it started as a youtube channel in which they used to share technical videos in regional languages. It got registered in 2014.Same year, it started providing technical courses and coding courses. Technical courses for free and coding courses were paid courses.  They used to provide coding courses in five different regional languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Bengali. It has recently added a new service in Italy list. It offers google cloud training and certification programs.

    GoBumpr

    GoBumpr was established in 2015 by Nandha Kumar, Karthik Venkateshwaran and Sundar Natesa. It has a wide network with two and four wheeler service outlets. It allows people to book service experts for repair of their bike or cars with their website. Apart from this,it provides many services like general service, engine repair, fully body painting and other ad-hoc repair services. One of the best things about GoBumpr is that it provides instant support for breakdown and roadside assistance. TVS Automobiles Solutions acquired GoBumpr in June, 2021.
